Easter is my favorite Holiday. It is so reassuring to me, knowing that the Lord rose and defeated death for us. This Easter reminded me that I am Freed. I am freed from my fears, my anxieties, my pride and most important my sins. Where we will be living next, what I will be do, how we will pay for things should be a burden or stress because I was Freed. All that matters is following the Lord. What did this Easter make you reflect on? (make sure you check out the last picture)
Whenever Sadie gets frustrating (especially when she is Done with posing for me) she shakes and tenses her hands and face. I told Matt that he was caught.... because she must have picked it up from him when he does it behind my back. :)
Here are some recent pictures of Sadie...as if I do not share enough. We were just enjoying the sunset outside our apartment.....loving the new Daylights savings time! 
She was his long awaited beautiful and intelligent bride....and he was, well, he was her humble waiter. I few years back she and some friends were eating out at Papasitos. "He was the most beautiful person I had ever seen" she claimed. She used some magic and to his luck and they met up with mutual friends that evening. All though they clicked, they seemed to be at different stages in their lives, so only a friendship developed. Over the next few years they would occasionally run into one another. Eventually Brian got the courage to ask her out on a date. Thankfully she agreed and they began to date. He kept insisting that she go with him to the Red, White and Blue Festival back in his hometown (our hometown) of Danbury, TX. Home the Fighting Panthers and population of 2,000 people. She gave in........hometown BBQ, cowboy boots, and good ole family fun....that's how that fell in love. The date is July 25th. My stunningly attractive husband will be the officiant! More importantly we get to share this day with some good friends. Congrats you guys....we are praying for you!
REVISED: I used a canon 135 2.0L lens and I used Totally Rad's Sample pack action Super Fun Happy with a low opacity and I also used MCP sharpen for the web. On a few I used TRA's Lux (hard) turn down. Hope this Helps!!
On our way from Houston to Dallas we stop at the Collin Fruit Bakery, famous world wide for their fruit cakes and we also took some pictures in some near by BlueBonnet patches. Back to fruit cakes....anybody out there really eat them?
What a sweet Mothers day it is to be able to love this little girl as much as I do. I also got the pleasure today to really Act out my motherly duties...Sadie was very constipated and I helped her out a bit. Yes, I love her that much. Poor thing, it was breaking my heart so daddy went and got some prune juice and mommy gave her an extra hand. Happy Mother's Day to all of you Moms..regardless if you have maternal children of your own...I am sure everyone as stepped up at one time and did what a mom has to do! Relax and Enjoy!
